I look at my husband with a puzzled expression.
“We what?”
“We need to start making videos.”
“Why?”
I love the written word. The spoken word, especially by me in front of a camera, not so much.
“People prefer watching videos than reading blogs.”
I sigh.
“Plus, I am sure there are people, who will find our journey interesting.” He continues.
We go backwards and forwards, until I give up. I know this is not an argument I am going to win, so the quicker I make peace with the fact that I will have to learn a new skill set, the better it will be for my emotional well-being. And if I am completely honest with myself, I am sure I will enjoy the challenge. I am just not prepared to be in front of a camera. Yet. Even though I am sure I will lose that argument too.

When we were on the land in July 2017 we shot some handheld footage we could refer to, once back home in Abu Dhabi. It was never meant to be used to make a video. I have a lot to learn, not just about using video editing software, but also shooting good footage. But our motto for this project is to stop talking, and start doing, no matter how little we know. If we have to wait to become experts, we will, ten years from now, be exactly where we are now. We will just have to become experts by practicing as we go along.

Absolutely!!! I totally agree with Mike.
And I am absolutely positively sure by this comment you are going to receive a: “See, I told you so!” Hahaha
So stop talking and start doing and enjoy every moment of your journey.
Love you lots. xxx
We will do our best to do just that. Even in those moments we feel like pulling our hair out, or get stumped by some sort of challenge. 🙂
